Job description

Location: Local partner schools
Schedule: 1–4 hours per week (after school)
Program Length: Typically 10 weeks
Start Dates: Programs launch throughout the school year
Compensation: $50+ per instructional hour, flexible based on assignment and instructor experience

Teach engaging enrichment classes that help students explore new interests and build real skills.
Concorde Education partners with schools to provide high-quality after-school programs led by passionate instructors. In this role, you will lead structured, hands-on sessions that help students build confidence, teamwork, and performance skills through cheerleading activities.

Lead fun, energetic cheerleading sessions for students in a flexible, part-time role. Classes typically meet once per week for about one hour, though some instructors choose to teach multiple programs per week depending on their availability.

Concorde Education is hiring engaging instructors to lead enrichment classes that help students develop coordination, teamwork, confidence, and school spirit.

Instructors lead structured enrichment lessons using weekly plans while adapting activities to the needs and interests of the students.

Possible Class Topics

  • Assignments vary by school and may include:
  • Cheerleading fundamentals and team routines
  • Cheers, chants, and sideline spirit techniques
  • Jumps, basic stunts, and safe movement fundamentals
  • Dance and choreography for cheer routines
  • Team-building and performance confidence
  • Rhythm, coordination, and performance timing
  • Preparing short routines for demonstrations or school events

Responsibilities

  • Lead engaging after-school cheerleading sessions for students
  • Facilitate skill-building activities and team routines
  • Maintain a safe, structured classroom environment
  • Encourage teamwork, confidence, and positive participation
  • Coordinate with school staff and Concorde program contacts

Qualifications

  • Minimum 60 college credits completed
  • Experience with cheerleading, dance, coaching, or related performance activities
  • Experience working with youth (schools, camps, sports programs, or after-school settings)
  • Strong communication and group facilitation skills
  • Reliable, punctual, and professional
