This position supports programs by designing, developing, and deploying advanced cyber capabilities in support of mission objectives. The role involves creating custom software solutions, conducting vulnerability research, analyzing operating system internals, and developing tools and techniques.
- Conduct debugging, troubleshooting, and system analysis to improve capability performance
- Document software components, processes, and findings according to program standards
- Collaborate with software engineers, analysts, and mission partners to meet technical, security, and operational requirements
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Proficiency in low-level programming languages such as C or C++, with experience in Python or similar scripting languages
- Hands-on experience with reverse engineering tools (Ghidra, IDA Pro, similar GOTS tools) and low-level debugging environments
- Strong understanding of operating systems internals (Linux, RTOS, embedded or mobile OS), memory management, and network protocols
- Familiarity with assembly language and low-level software behavior
- Experience supporting offensive cyber operations within secure Dod or IC environments and following established engineering, documentation, and security processes
