For the right people, it’s incredibly rewarding: a chance to shape a new medium, work with a small team that cares deeply about quality, make music, drink too much coffee, and build something that millions of people use to express themselves in ways that were never before possible.Suno is the fastest growing consumer entertainment company and the leader in AI music. We are backed by leading investors including Bond Capital, Menlo Ventures, Lightspeed Venture Partners, IVP, Forerunner, Union Square Ventures, Alkeon, Quiet, Matrix Partners, Schroders Capital and, NVentures (venture arm of NVIDIA).

About the role

We're hiring a Senior Workplace Project Manager on a contract basis to lead the planning, design, and delivery of our new NYC and Cambridge, MA offices, with a target move-in of summer 2027. This is a defined-scope engagement with the opportunity to convert to a full-time role.

You'll own both projects end-to-end and serve as Suno's owner's representative throughout design and construction. You'll report to the Director of Workplace Experience & Real Estate, and work closely with Finance, IT, Legal, and all our external real estate and architect partners across both locations.

Listen to the song we made about it: https://suno.com/s/M29tTDvjQ35AzjqU

What you'll do
  • Manage the full lifecycle of the NYC and Cambridge office build-outs, from initial scoping through construction administration and move-in, targeting summer 2027
  • Develop and own project budgets, schedules, and scope documents for both sites
  • Procure and actively manage external vendors including architects, general contractors, furniture vendors, AV/IT consultants, and specialty subcontractors
  • Serve as Suno's owner's representative throughout design and construction, coordinating reviews and approvals with Finance, IT, Legal, and People
  • Support space planning and occupancy analysis to inform decisions on both sites
  • Lead due diligence on both spaces; support lease work letter review and TI allowance negotiation in coordination with Legal
  • Manage permitting, code compliance, and landlord coordination for NYC and Cambridge
  • Maintain project documentation, status reporting, and executive updates throughout both projects
  • Build scalable process templates for how Suno manages workplace development going forward
What we're looking for
  • Approx 5-8 years of experience managing office build-outs or tenant improvement projects, ideally at a tech company or in a client‑side PM role
  • Solid working knowledge of the full construction lifecycle: design development, construction documents, permitting, bidding, construction administration, and closeout
  • Hands‑on experience with MEP systems, FF&E, AV/IT integration, and commercial interiors
  • Strong budget management skills; comfortable with detailed cost tracking and change order review
  • Ability to manage two concurrent projects across different sites without losing detail or momentum
  • Comfortable reading and interpreting architectural and engineering drawings
  • Experience navigating lease documents and work letters (with Legal support)
  • Clear, direct communicator with strong stakeholder management skills across all levels
  • Self‑directed and structured -- this is a greenfield engagement that requires someone who can create process from scratch
Nice to have
  • Familiarity with the NYC commercial real estate market and DOB permitting process
  • Familiarity with Cambridge/MA building codes and permitting
  • Experience working with flexible or serviced office providers alongside traditional TI projects
  • Background in interior design or architecture
  • PMP, LEED, or similar certification
Engagement details
  • This is a contract position with an opportunity to convert to full‑time.
  • W-2 via employer of record preferred.
  • Start date flexible; project timeline targets summer 2027 move-in for both sites.
  • Compensation: Hourly rate of $93-$135
