Job description

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Contract Specialist to join a Federal Program located in Arlington, VA though a hybrid work model, onsite one day per week. The Contracts Specialist will analyze cost, contract negotiations/modifications, and procurement policies of DoD Research and Development contracts.
Responsibilities of the Contract Specialist:
  • Assisting in the negotiation on contracts
  • Analyzing proposed costs and prices
  • Preparing required contract file documentation per the FAR, DFARS, and other relevant regulations
  • Analyzing procurement policies and procedures

Qualifications of the Contract Specialist:
  • 5-8 years of experience as a Contract Officer
  • FAR and DFAR Experience
  • Experience with PD2
  • Experience in government or commercial procurement
  • Bachelor's Degree Required
  • Active Secret Security Clearance Required

Compensation for the Contract Specialist:
  • Salary Range: $140,000 - $165,000 *flexible based on experience*
  • Full Benefits: Cigna Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K, etc.
  • Sick leave as required by law
