Seeking a compassionate, highly skilled, professional Registered Nurse (RN)

This role focuses on providing supervisory nursing care to LPNs and caregivers of individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in our Group Home and their family homes. The ideal candidate possesses strong clinical judgment, excels at developing individualized care plans, and is deeply committed to promoting autonomy and improving our clients' quality of life.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Specialized Assessment & Care: Perform initial and ongoing physical, psychological, and functional assessments tailored to the unique needs of individuals with disabilities.
  • Care Plan Implementation: Develop, review, and execute individualized care plans in coordination with family and care teams.
  • Patient & Family Advocacy: Provide clear health education, safety protocols, and emotional support to clients, families, and designated primary caregivers.
  • Accurate Documentation: Maintain precise, up-to-date electronic health records (EHR) in absolute compliance with state regulations, Medicaid guidelines, and agency policies.

Requirements and Qualifications: Associate Degree in Nursing or higher

  • Licensure: Active, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in Georgia.
  • Experience: Minimum of 1–2 years of nursing experience, with a strong preference for background in home health, private duty nursing, or direct clinical care for individuals with physical or developmental disabilities.
  • Certifications: Current BLS/CPR certification.
  • Autonomy: Proven ability to work independently with minimal on-site supervision while maintaining strict infection control and safety standards.
  • Logistics: Valid driver’s license, a reliable vehicle.
  • Core Competencies: Strong interpersonal communication skills, emotional resilience, and patience.
