Job description

Job Description HVAC Service Technician Responsibilities: Service, maintain, and repair DX equipment (up to 100 tons), packaged AC units (up to 150 tons), water source heat pumps, and other commercial HVAC systems. Diagnose and repair faulty equipment, including gas-fired and electric heating systems, pneumatic/electronic controls, and air handling systems. Start systems, monitor operation, and adjust valves, controls, and pumps to maintain proper fluid, pressure, and temperature levels.

Perform site evaluations, including troubleshooting and escalating issues to supervisors when necessary. Provide startup services for newly installed commercial equipment. Complete preventative maintenance services, including cleaning coils, fan belts, and ductwork.

Maintain communication with dispatchers, check in at the end of the day, and receive next-day assignments. Qualifications: High School or Trade School Graduate, or GED. Universal EPA Refrigerant Card (Type I or Universal).

At least 5 years of commercial HVAC experience. Must maintain reliable attendance and flexible working hours, including weekend on-call rotation. Clean and professional appearance, with well-maintained tools and company equipment.
