Job description

You will be the Software Engineering - Associate Manager Flight Controls for the Flight Controls team which is responsible for the design, integration, and sustainment of flightcontrol systems.


What You Will Be Doing


As the Software Engineering - Associate Manager Flight Controls you will be responsible for leading workforce and personnel management for F22/F16 flightcontrols programs. You will partner with IFG, Aeronautics, and external stakeholders to drive technology roadmaps and deliver accurate cost estimates.


Your responsibilities will include:



  • Manage reassignments, recruitment, selections, terminations, and career development for program staff.

  • Collaborate with IFG, Aeronautics, Business Units, and industry partners to align technical and business objectives.

  • Support technologyroadmap pursuit, coordinate TSOW inputs, and develop Basis of Estimate (BOE) aligned with government and Lockheed standards.

  • Input BOEs into APTS ensuring quality and compliance.

  • Facilitate communication across all levels, from engineers to executives, resolving conflicts and building collaborative relationships.
