Job description

Ebels General Store in Falmouth is looking for a Part-Time Store Attendant to help with a variety of tasks throughout the store. This position is ideal for an after-school student who is dependable, willing to learn, and enjoys staying busy. The Store Attendant will assist with keeping the store clean, organized, stocked, and ready for customers. This is a flexible, entry-level position where duties may vary based on the needs of the store. The Store Attendant will work under the direction of the Store Manager and other store management and will be expected to assist wherever needed.

Compensation for this position ranges from $14.00 to $17.00 per hour, based on experience, skills, and qualifications.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Retrieve shopping carts from the parking lot and return them to the designated cart area.
  • Help keep the store, entrances, aisles, and other areas clean and organized.
  • Stock shelves and assist with putting away merchandise and supplies.
  • Help organize shelves, displays, storage areas, and other areas of the store.
  • Empty trash and assist with general cleaning duties as directed.
  • Help maintain a clean and welcoming store environment.
  • Return misplaced merchandise to the proper location.
  • Assist customers with finding products or direct them to an appropriate employee for assistance.
  • Help other store employees with routine tasks as needed.
  • Assist with maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of the parking lot and store entrances.
  • Follow all safety procedures and instructions provided by store management.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Store Manager to support the needs of the store.
