The electronic and integration technician at FTEX is key to integrate our smart controller and bike electrification in Quebec. Come and join our Montreal team and play a critical role in delivering a world-class product to our clients throughout North America and the world!
Your responsibilities
- Responsible for the testing and maintenance of various products in the company.
- Dyno testing and troubleshooting of the firmware and hardware
- Work with the hardware team to develop procedures to find hardware and software bugs.
- Vehicle integration and test
- Responsible for tuning and compatibility of the controller for the different products
- Various R&D firmware and hardware tasks
- Support manufacturing with validations, jigs, ICTs, etc
- Wiring harness design, and sometimes assembly
- Lab maintenance
- Work on the IoT infra if needed
Your background
- Technical degree in electronics or embedded work
- Experience in Embedded programming a big plus
- Familiar with PCBs and electronic components a plus
- Familiar with the electrical measurement tools
- Experience in power electronics or motor control a big plus
- Good communication and interpersonal skills. Strong English proficiency required; French an asset.
