Key responsibilities

  • Provide full-time clinic coverage for urology patients, including managing 16 patient encounters per shift.

  • Perform urology surgeries in the operating room 2-3 days per week.

  • Participate in system call coverage based out of Wausau 7-10 days per month, including one weekend per month.


Job description

Opportunity:

Physician (MD) - Urology


Job Details:

  • Coverage needed from November 2026 through April 2027

  • Full-time clinic coverage with 2-3 days of OR time per week (36 hours per week, days/times flexible)

  • System call based out of Wausau, 7-10 days per month including one weekend per month

  • May include 1-2 days per month outreach to Wisconsin Rapids

  • 16 patient encounters per shift in clinic

  • Board certification required (minimum certified)

  • BLS certification required

  • General Urology experience required with adult patients

  • Preferred skills include advanced endoscopic techniques, laparoscopic surgeries, percutaneous nephrolithotomy, ureteroscopy, robotic surgery, radical cystectomy with ileo-loop conduit, radical prostatectomy, nephrectomy, prostatectomy, pelvic node dissection, partial nephrectomies with intraoperative ultrasound, adrenalectomy, renal and bladder ultrasound with biopsy, TRUS biopsies, fertility work-up, incontinence procedures, penile prosthesis, ESWL, renal transplant surgery, and advanced pediatric surgery
