What does a flexible computer lab monitor do?

A Flexible Computer Lab Monitor oversees the daily operations of a computer lab, assisting users with technical issues and ensuring the equipment is functioning properly. They enforce lab rules, help maintain a safe and productive environment, and may provide basic troubleshooting for hardware or software problems. The 'flexible' aspect typically means they work variable hours to accommodate the lab's schedule or special events. These monitors also report technical issues to IT staff and may assist with setting up or shutting down equipment as needed.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a flexible computer lab monitor, and why are they important?

To thrive as a Flexible Computer Lab Monitor, you generally need basic computer literacy, familiarity with common operating systems and applications, and a high school diploma or equivalent.
