The Role
The Direct Bill Specialist/Processor is responsible for accurately processing high-volume direct bill activity, including reconciling statements, posting payments, resolving discrepancies, and maintaining clean financial records that directly impact agency revenue, producer compensation, and the effectiveness of the accounting team. This role also serves as a key contact for billing inquiries, providing timely and professional support to clients, carriers, and internal teams. The position is detail-driven and execution-focused, requiring consistency, organization, speed, and strict adherence to procedures, alongside strong communication skills. By ensuring accuracy and efficiency, the specialist supports the agency's financial integrity, delivers excellent client service, and contributes to predictable month-end outcomes.
