Job description

Job Title: ED RN - Day Shift (Travel)
Location: Fort Defiance
Facility: Tsehootsooi Medical Center
Pay Rate: $80-$85.00 per hour
Job Description:
Join a dynamic Emergency Department team at Tsehootsooi Medical Center. The ED includes:
  • 11-bed Main ED
  • 6-bed Fast Track
  • 7-bed Observation Unit
RNs will rotate across all ED areas and may also be assigned to:
  • Triage
  • Quick Registration
  • COVID Tent & Entry Screening
  • Testing & Immunization Clinics
You should be comfortable adapting to high patient volume and changing assignments within the shift.
Shift Information:
  • 12-hour Day Shift (07:00 AM - 07:00 PM)
  • Must be flexible to work other shifts (Day/Mid), as required by facility needs
Schedule:
  • Typically 7 days on / 7 days off
  • 36 hours one week / 48 hours the next
  • Maximum 1 week RTO
  • Schedule may change based on staffing needs
Responsibilities:
  • Provide emergency nursing care across multiple ED units
  • Adapt to rotating assignments during shifts
  • Float to other departments as needed
  • Assist with patient care or task-based duties when floating
Requirements:
  • Minimum 2 years recent RN experience in Emergency Department
  • Must be flexible and comfortable in fast-paced environments
Certifications Required:
  • AHA BLS
  • AHA ACLS
  • PALS or ENPC
  • TNCC
  • Conscious Sedation Certification
