As a Physical Therapist at Flex Well Therapeutics, you will work onsite, directly interacting with patients and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team that includes physicians, occupational therapists, and nursing staff. As a Physical Therapist, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Conducting thorough assessments of patients’ physical abilities and limitations to develop tailored treatment plans.
• Implementing individualized therapy interventions, which may include exercises, modalities, and manual therapy techniques, to facilitate patient recovery.
• Regularly evaluating patient progress and adjusting treatment plans as needed to optimize rehabilitation outcomes.
• Collaborating closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to create a cohesive care strategy that meets patient needs across the continuum of care.
• Providing education and support to patients and their families, ensuring they understand their treatment plans and how to continue care at home.
• Prioritizing caseloads and coordinating patient assignments, ensuring that all patients receive timely and effective therapy.

Your role will entail working with a diverse patient population, including individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, neurological conditions, and more. You will support patients of all ages, from children requiring rehabilitation post-injury to older adults requiring assistance in regaining mobility after surgery. Your commitment to patient-centered care will empower individuals to regain independence and improve their quality of life.

To thrive in this position, candidates must possess:

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Therapy; a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree is preferred.
• A valid physical therapy license in California.
• Certification in Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS), which must be obtained within the first 30 days of employment.
• A strong commitment to patient care and the ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment.

While no prior experience is required, candidates with experience in outpatient rehabilitation or diverse patient populations will be preferred. Familiarity with advanced therapeutic techniques and technologies will be advantageous in providing comprehensive patient care.
