The Rehabilitation Center is designed to facilitate effective treatment and therapeutic interventions in a welcoming and supportive atmosphere. You will work onsite in a collaborative environment, interdisciplinary team members frequently share insights to enhance client care. Your work hours will be from Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 3 PM, allowing a structured yet dynamic work schedule that promotes work-life balance.

As a Physical Therapist at Flex Health Solutions, your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting thorough Physical Therapy evaluations focusing on children to assess their physical capabilities and challenges.
• Developing customized treatment plans based on individual patient needs, utilizing evidence-based practices to foster optimal recovery.
• Regularly reassessing clinical signs and symptoms to track treatment effectiveness and make necessary adjustments to care plans.
• Completing all documentation, including SOAP notes, progress summaries, and care plans in our electronic record system in a timely manner.
• Educating patients and their families about the rehabilitation process, setting realistic expectations while addressing potential challenges.
• Meeting minimum utilization goals and acting proactively on other business objectives relevant to patient care.
• Collaborating with peers in other disciplines within Ensemble Therapy for clients receiving multiple services, ensuring a holistic approach to care.
• Being an ambassador for Flex Health Solutions by embodying our core values, promoting a positive workplace culture, and supporting team initiatives.

You will work with a diverse range of patients, including children from various backgrounds and with differing physical abilities, thereby requiring you to adapt your approach to suit individual circumstances. This may involve tailoring communication styles to accommodate varied ages, races, and ethnicities, promoting an inclusive environment for rehabilitation.

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• A Master's degree or Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited physical therapy program.
• Current and unrestricted physical therapist licensure in the state of Connecticut.
• A commitment to in-person and telehealth evaluations and treatments, as clinically appropriate, ensuring flexibility in service delivery.
