Job Overview: This role is aligned to the Coffee Operating Unit Production Technician I - FLEX Essex Junction, VT The Production Technician I is responsible for operating and monitoring production machinery to maximize production and maintain KDP's high standards in safety and quality. This role will also be engaged in supporting improvements to the manufacturing process in the areas of safety, quality, delivery, productivity and growth. Shift & Schedule: Flexible scheduling that helps balance your work and personal life.

We have 6, 8, or 12-hour shifts that will be available for pickup by FLEX employees through our mobile shift management system . This position allows for up to 29 hours of shifts to be picked up per week. Work the hours that are right for you.

Available Fulltime Shifts: D1: Monday - Wednesday, with alternating Thursdays, from 6:00am - 6:15pm D2: Friday - Sunday, with alternating Thursdays, from 6:00am - 6:15pm N1: Monday - Wednesday, with alternating Thursdays, from 6:00pm - 6:15am N2: Friday - Sunday, with alternating Thursdays, from 6:00pm - 6:15am Position Responsibilities: Maintain a safe and healthy environment, demonstrating safe behaviors at all times. Understand and help drive improvement to quality systems and policies (Quality Data System, Safe Quality Food, Good Manufacturing Practices and Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points). Learn to safely operate and monitor high-speed production equipment.

Actively engage in resolving production line issues, executing and developing standard work, tracking production data, and participating in KDP's lean daily management process. Actively learn and participate in formal problem-solving processes with team members. Generate productivity and continuous improvement ideas.

Total Rewards: Pay starting at $24.26 per hour plus applicable shift differential.The employee will move to a higher rate of $25.46 per hour in the quarter after their 6-month anniversary. Ability to work in a variety of temperature and humidity conditions.
