Job description

Company Overview
Prep Dig is America's #1 Event Operator for volleyball events. Hosting over 80 events this year, we specialize in premium experience for prospects and players at all levels of competition.
Job Summary
You will be working player check-in at our showcase on Saturday and Sunday, 1/10-1/11 at The Barn in Menasha, WI. As a check-in staff member, you will be the first person players, parents, coaches, and spectators see when they enter the venue. You will receive a complimentary staff shirt to wear at the event. The hours will be roughly 8:00am-10:00pm Saturday, and 8:00am-6:00pm Sunday. You will be paid $15/hour via direct deposit. Payment is generally sent Monday following the event.
Responsibilities and Duties
First responsibilities:
  • Checking wristbands and ensuring no spectator is getting in without paying
  • If any spectator tries to enter without you seeing their wristband, you must call them out to show their wristband
  • If any spectator tries to enter wearing the incorrect color wristband, you must call them out
  • The only people that can enter without wearing a wristband are players, officials, event staff, and Prep Network staff
Secondary responsibilities may include:
  • Assisting with team check-in
  • Assisting with admissions and/or troubleshooting POS devices
  • Checking for other entrances or doors being propped open where spectators could be getting in without paying
  • If necessary, work clock/book for a game if a team doesn't have a parent to work it
  • Retrieving scoresheets after games are complete
  • Assisting with event clean-up
  • Any other tasks the event director may ask of you

Qualifications and Skills
  • Customer Service. Proven ability of strong, friendly customer service skills.
  • Personable. Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Organized. Strong ability to multitask and prioritize competing tasks.
  • Google Apps. Access to Google Sheets, Google Docs, etc.
  • Attention to Detail. Exudes exceptional attention to detail when completing tasks.
