We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Orthopedic Physical Therapist to join our dynamic team at Flex Well Wellness Clinic in West McLean, Virginia. This is a full-time position that requires a passionate professional committed to helping patients achieve their rehabilitation goals.

The successful candidate will work onsite at our state-of-the-art Rehabilitation Center in West McLean. Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough evaluations of patients with orthopedic conditions, chronic pain, and post-operative recovery needs.
  • Establish comprehensive treatment plans based on individual assessments that integrate exercise, manual therapy, dry needling, and advanced modalities.
  • Work closely with patients to help them achieve their rehabilitation goals, constantly adapting and modifying treatment strategies based on their progress.
  • Document all assessments, treatments, progress notes, and outcomes in compliance with clinic protocols and legal requirements.
  • Conduct ongoing evaluations to reassess therapeutic goals and modify plans as necessary.
  • Assist in selecting and fitting appropriate assistive devices, ensuring patients can achieve optimal mobility and independence.
  • Engage patients’ families and caregivers in education sessions to foster understanding and support for home exercises and equipment usage.
  • Maintain up-to-date professional knowledge through workshops, literature review, and networking with other health professionals.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Your role will primarily involve working with a diverse patient population requiring orthopedic rehabilitation. This includes individuals recovering from injury, surgical procedures, and those managing chronic conditions such as arthritis or sports injuries. You will have the opportunity to design treatment programs tailored to meet the unique needs of each patient, promoting recovery and enhancing quality of life.

Qualifications
  • A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
  • Active State License in Physical Therapy.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in computer applications relevant to documentation and patient management.
  • Compassionate and patient-centered approach; able to work efficiently and adapt to changing client needs.
Preferred Experience
  • Previous clinical experience in orthopedic physical therapy is preferred but not required.
  • Experience with electronic health records (EHR) systems.
Compensation and Benefits

Flex Well Wellness Clinic offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience. In addition, we provide a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
