Work Environment

This full-time position is located in Naples, Florida, known for its serene environment and vibrant community. You will work onsite, visiting patients in the comfort of their homes. Key Responsibilities

• Assess and evaluate patients' conditions through thorough physical examinations to develop effective, individualized treatment plans.
• Implement and monitor advanced therapeutic techniques and exercises aimed at improving patient mobility, strength, and overall function.
• Educate patients and their families on rehabilitation processes, self-management techniques, and lifestyle changes to promote optimal recovery.
• Maintain detailed documentation of patient progress and adapt treatment protocols as necessary to ensure the best outcomes.
• Work collaboratively with a diverse team of healthcare providers, including physicians and specialists, to develop comprehensive care strategies.
• Ensure compliance with all healthcare regulations, maintaining a safe and ethical practice tailored to the unique challenges of home care environments.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This role specifically targets patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries and injuries, including post-operative rehabilitation. You will address a variety of orthopedic conditions, working closely with elderly patients, active adults, and individuals with mobility challenges.

Qualifications

• Possession of a Master's Degree from an accredited physical therapy program.
• Valid and active physical therapist license in the state of Florida.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience specifically in orthopedic physical therapy.
• Strong proficiency in designing effective rehabilitation strategies tailored to the needs of orthopedic patients.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is essential to ensure patient safety.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills for effective engagement with patients and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.

Preferred Experience

Experience in home care environments is highly desirable. Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and telehealth solutions will be advantageous in enhancing patient management and communication.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $90,000 to $120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition, our comprehensive benefits package includes:
