Job description

Responsibilities: * Test software following a formal automated testing method using various telephony and networking hardware spanning multiple hardware platforms.
* Generate test cases based on defined requirements and product functionality.
* Perform baseline, system, and regression level testing in support of research and development efforts.
* Analyze large log data sets and software test data while documenting results in a clear and concise manner.
* Create test documents such as test plans, requirements verification traceability matrices, and test summary reports, and provide analysis of test procedures.
Required:
* 5+ years of experience with being a test engineer developing or executing test scripts and analyzing results in while performing system testing of complex systems
* Strong Python experience
* Experience with using and developing scripts in Python and creating regular expressions for searching data sets
* Experience with integrating new and old technologies into existing network configurations and test beds
* Experience with creating scenarios that support the creation of test cases and analysis of procedures
* Ability to manage discrepancy reports identified during testing
* Ability to develop, build, and test multiple lab environments using various telephony and networking hardware following formal testing methods
* Ability to set priorities and rearrange schedules to address unexpected issues, and perform baseline, system, and regression level testing in support of research and development efforts Desired: * Knowledge of Jenkins or other Continuous Integration Frameworks
* Knowledge of PyTest automation frameworks
* Knowledge of SPLUNK
* Knowledge of working in a Linux environment
* Knowledge of working in an Agile environment
Clearance:
TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is required.
