Position Summary:
As a Wooden Crate Builder, you are one of the critical final stops in our production cycle. You will protect and secure our heavy-duty heavy industrial radiators, cooling solutions, and related hardware for safe domestic and international transport. This highly active, hands-on role combines custom wood fabrication with minor material handling and electronic inventory tracking to ensure our engineered thermal solutions reach our global clients damage-free and on time.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Read and interpret blueprints and packaging specifications to determine crate dimensions and construction requirements.
  • Build custom wooden crates using hand and power tools, ensuring structural integrity and compliance with safety standards.
  • Incorporate internal bracing, cushioning, and moisture barriers to protect sensitive equipment.
  • Label crates with handling instructions, part numbers, and destination details.
  • Collaborate with production and logistics teams to meet shipping schedules.
  • Maintain inventory of crate-building materials and report shortages or defects.
  • Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work area.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in carpentry or industrial packaging preferred.
  • 2+ years of experience in crate building or industrial carpentry, ideally in a manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
  • Skilled in using saws, drills, nail guns, and other carpentry tools.
  • Familiarity with packaging standards for heavy industrial equipment (e.g., ISPM 15 compliance).
  • Physical ability to lift heavy materials and work in a warehouse setting.

Benefits:

  • Competitive hourly wage
  • Health, dental, and vision insurance
  • 401(k) with company match
  • Paid time off and holidays
  • Opportunities for advancement and training

What We Offer You:
