Job Title: Field Coordinator – Oil & Gas Water Hauling

Location: Pennsylvania / Ohio / West Virginia (multi-site travel required)
Reports To: Operations Manager

Job Summary

The Field Coordinator supports the safe and efficient execution of water hauling operations across active oil & gas sites. This role coordinates daily truck activity with dispatch, communicates with drivers and customer representatives, verifies load documentation, and helps ensure compliance with DOT regulations and site-specific safety requirements. The Field Coordinator serves as a key link between field operations and management to keep work moving safely, accurately, and on schedule.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate daily truck movements with dispatch to support on-time deliveries to well sites, compressor stations, disposal, and treatment facilities.
  • Communicate with drivers and customer site representatives to address access issues, schedule changes, and operational constraints in real time.
  • Verify load tickets and volumes; report discrepancies and maintain accurate records to support billing and operational reporting.
  • Reinforce compliance with DOT regulations, company safety standards, and all customer/site requirements.
  • Identify and report equipment or operational issues to operations/maintenance to minimize downtime and prevent service interruptions.
  • Maintain clear documentation, including load tickets, manifests, daily field logs, and incident reports.
  • Participate in safety meetings and support a strong, consistent safety culture in the field.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent (technical/trade certification is a plus).
  • Prior experience in oilfield operations, logistics, trucking, or water hauling preferred.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Working knowledge of DOT compliance and oilfield safety practices.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with variable hours as required.
  • Ability to travel routinely to job sites across PA/OH/WV.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

  • Incident Reporting: All spills and incidents are reported immediately and documented appropriately.
  • Safety Performance: Support safe driving practices and reduction of preventable incidents.
  • Inspection Compliance: Consistent completion of pre- and post-trip inspections (cab card, tires, lights, placards, hoses, connections, containment, etc.).
  • PPE Compliance: Adherence to required PPE, including hard hat, safety vest, FR clothing, safety glasses, and any additional site-specific PPE.
  • Documentation Accuracy: High accuracy in tickets/volumes and reduced billing corrections through proper field verification.
