Job description

Amazon Stores Security - Regulation Tech Assurance (RTA) is the team responsible for maintaining global regulatory compliance for all Amazon Stores, Devices, and Others to include payment and healthcare compliance. Additionally, RTA works to identify, analyze, and mitigate security risk identified through various compliance activities, pentesting, and other sources.
We are seeking an experienced, self-motivated Principal Security Technical Program Manager with a background in security compliance and technology integration who will help identify, analyze, and prioritize security risk identified through a variety of sources across Amazon. This work will help drive leadership prioritization and reduced security and compliance risk.
Key job responsibilities
- Manage and be accountable for security programs and/or projects to reduce security and compliance risk.
- Develop and implement scalable solutions leveraging automation and intelligence.
- Work across various stakeholders to identify and evaluate customer needs and solutions.
- Understand and manage cross-functional requirements to translate them into an optimal solution. Be comfortable with hands-on day-to-day problem solving and implementing quick and effective action plans to meet short- and long-term priorities.
- Lead various security compliance activities in order for Amazon to achieve and maintain compliance with legal, regulatory, and industry standard requirements.
- Continuously prioritize risk for service teams, security teams, and executive leadership.
- Work with security engineers and others to develop technical risk mitigation strategies and approaches.
- Communicate clearly and effectively both in writing and verbally with team members, stakeholders, and leadership.
- Integrate into various enterprise risk management processes.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 7+ years of technical product or program management experience
- 10+ years of working directly with engineering teams experience
- Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
