Schedule: Full Time (36hrs/week) Nights

About Us Pediatric/Adult Unit
The Pediatric/Adult Unit consists of 15-beds to provide care to children from birth to age 18. Additionally, we take overflow adult patients with uncomplicated medical, surgical, orthopedic, and OB/GYN diagnoses as needed. Admission of adult patients excludes those with specific diagnoses that requires a higher level of specialized care.
We work with families to make their children's hospitalization less traumatic by encouraging parental involvement
With chair beds in each room, as well as meal trays for parents, families remain together during difficult times. Each room has a TV with movies and video games available upon request
Our care team focuses on teamwork, compassion and relationship building

What You'll Do

In Conjunction With The Medical Plan Of Care, Independently Performs Systematic And Continuous Assessment Of The Physical, Emotional, Clinical And Psychosocial Needs Of Assigned Patients And Families; Plans And Implements Appropriate Interventions; And Evaluates Effectiveness And Adjusts Plan As Indicated In A Timely Manner In The Provision Of Safe And Effective Care.

Requirements
Current Missouri Registered Nurse License Or Current Registered Nurse License From A Compact State. If A Compact License Is Held, It Must Be In The Nurse's State Of Residence.
If No Experience As An RN Or LPN In A Hospital Setting Or It Has Been More Than 5 Years Since Last Worked In A Hospital Setting, Nurses Must Successfully Pass Patient Care Orientation (PCO) Within 30 Days.
AHA BLS For Healthcare Providers Within 30 Days.
AHA PALS Provider Within 365 Days.
RN Competency Day Annually By Transcript Due Date.
