Part-Time Flex | $16/hour | Cross-Trained on All Shifts
Looking for a role that offers flexibility, variety, and real impact? Best Western Montrose Inn is seeking a dependable, guest-focused Part-Time Flex Front Desk Sales & Service Representative to support our team.
This role is primarily focused on consistently covering our second shift (1:45pm – 9:45pm) Saturday - Monday, which is critical to daily operations. Flex coverage for other shifts will be a secondary responsibility, helping fill in for planned and unplanned absences as needed.
This position is ideal for someone who enjoys variety, adapts quickly, and takes pride in being a reliable, steady presence during one of the most important shifts of the day.
What You’ll Be Doing:
As a Flex Front Desk Representative, you will be trained on all shifts. However, your primary responsibility will be owning and consistently delivering excellent service during second shift, while also stepping in to support other shifts when needed.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide warm, professional, and engaging service to every guest
  • Validate all second-shift check-ins, ensuring a smooth, welcoming arrival experience
  • Obtain and verify all required credit card authorizations accurately and securely
  • Handle check-in and check-out efficiently and accurately
  • Upsell room features and amenities to enhance guest experience
  • Answer phones and assist with reservations and guest inquiries
  • Represent and promote Best Western brand standards at all times
  • Resolve guest concerns promptly with care and confidence
  • Use hotel management software (PMS training provided)
  • Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance for room readiness
  • Process payments and maintain an accurate cash drawer
  • Help maintain a welcoming, well-presented lobby environment
Position Details:
  • Schedule: Part-time, flex
  • Guaranteed Shifts: 3 shifts per week (Saturday, Sunday & Monday 1:45pm - 9:45pm Required Weekly Shifts)
  • Additional Shifts: As needed for coverage (vacations, call-outs, peak demand)
  • Shifts: Must be available to train and work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays and possible overnights during emergencies
  • Compensation: $16 per hour to start
  • Location: Best Western Montrose Inn, Montrose, CO
