Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality mental health counseling services via individual, family, and group sessions, focusing on client safety and satisfaction.
• Leverage our cloud-based EHR system to maintain accurate and compliant documentation of all patient interactions, treatment plans, and progress notes.
• Conduct telehealth sessions using our secure platforms, ensuring that all client communications meet federal regulations.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists and social workers, to create comprehensive treatment plans tailored to the unique needs of each client.
• Engage in ongoing assessment work to identify client progress and any necessary adjustments to treatment strategies.
• Conduct treatment programs designed to manage symptoms of mental health issues, trauma, and dual diagnosis effectively.
• Participate in regular supervision and training sessions for continuous professional development and skill enhancement.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The patients you will serve include individuals from diverse backgrounds, including those with mental health disorders, trauma histories, and substance abuse challenges. Your expertise will be vital in supporting clients through their therapeutic journeys, providing them with the tools needed for empowerment and recovery. You'll work closely with clients to identify their goals and develop individualized treatment approaches, focusing on fostering resilience and adaptability in challenging life circumstances.

Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a closely related field.
• Active and unrestricted licensure as a Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) in Maryland.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in mental health counseling is required.
• Proficient in using technology tools, including telehealth platforms and electronic health record systems.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively and empathetically with clients from various backgrounds.
