Job description

Cardiac Or Rnfa

City/State: Rochester, New York

Shift: 3x12 Flex, 07:00:00-19:00:00

Contract Length: 16 weeks

Start Date: 09/14/2026

Job Description:

The Cardiac OR RNFA must be able to assist with chest exposure and closing as well as independently perform vein harvesting for CABGs. It is preferred but not required to first assist in DaVinci robotic cases. It is also preferred but not required to be able to scrub and circulate complex cardiac cases which may include CABGs, structural heart cases (i.e. Bentall), minimally invasive procedures (i.e. Mini Aortic Valve Replacement), and heart failure cases (i.e. Impella). Heart transplants are also performed here and experience in heart transplant is preferred.

Requirements:

  • 2 years of cardiac RNFA experience
  • AHA BLS and ACLS
  • NYS RN license
  • CNOR certification
  • Telemetry
