SUMMARY:

You will own the user experience and customer-facing workflows of our next-generation IoT platform. You will build highly performant, intuitive dashboards that allow enterprise users to visualize their fleet topologies and manage connected devices at scale.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Develop detailed topology visualization and cross-org super-admin dashboards.
  • Provide dashboards, charts, and filtered views for sensor telemetry and alert trends to support end-to-end solution monitoring.
  • Unify gateway management and sensor data experiences so customers can move between fleet operations and troubleshooting in a single workflow.
  • Collaborate with Product, Platform, Cloud, and Customer Success teams to deliver reliable IoT solutions.
  • Leverage modern AI-assisted development tools (e.g., Claude-Preferred, GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT) to improve engineering productivity while maintaining high standards for code quality, testing, and documentation.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
  • 7+ years of professional software engineering experience with a strong emphasis on scalable front-end architectures.
  • Mastery of modern front-end technologies: React, GraphQL, Redux, Vite, HTML5, CSS3, and TypeScript.
  • Solid understanding of backend integration points, particularly interacting with GraphQL and REST APIs.
  • Experience with containerization (Docker) and UI performance optimization.
  • Familiarity with observability platforms to monitor frontend performance and user experience.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
  • Lifting requirements up to 10 pounds.
  • Requires sitting for periods of time and occasional mobility. WORK ENVIRONMENT:
    • Working conditions are normal for an office environment. Minimal noise.
    • Our Minnesota facility includes a manufacturing environment. Moderate noise level. Machinery operation requires the use of safety equipment to include but not limited to; safety glasses, hearing protection, wrist and shoe straps, and ESD smock. Loose fitting clothing and jewelry are not permitted. No food is allowed in the manufacturing area. No cell phone use allowed in manufacturing area unless approved by management.
