Job description

Eaton’s ES AMER ESSdivision is currently seeking aFacilities Maintenance Tech - 1st Shift - CPO at our Capital Blvd (CPO) site in Raleigh, NC.

The pay rate for this position is $24per hour.

Core hours are 6:00am - 2:30pm

What you’ll do:

The Maintenance Technician will work closely with production teams to support initiative including line set up and relocation, equipment modifications and repairs and preventative maintenance.

**In this role:**

•You will troubleshoot equipment and make necessary repairs.

•You will record and schedule preventative maintenance.

•You will requisition parts, materials, labor and support to complete job tasks.

•You will fabricate replacement parts as needed for machinery.

•You will lead and manage special project as required.

Qualifications:

Required (Basic) Qualifications:

•High School Diploma or GED required from an accredited educational institution

•Minimum of 5 years industrial maintenance experience

•Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship

•Relocation assistance is not available for this position. Only candidates in the immediate geographical area (50-mile radius) will be considered. Active Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation.

**Preferred Qualifications:**

•Welding experience and / or certifications

•Hazardous waste management / Hazardous waste operations emergency response

•Knowledge of electrical systems and devices

•Lock Out / Tag Out Certified

•HVAC training and / or certifications

•Basic working knowledge and experience with computers

Skills:

**Position Criteria:**

•Ability to demonstrate working knowledge of the mechanical, electrical, and safety procedures of a manufacturing facility.

•Ability to work daily and/or weekend overtime, willingness to flex to different areas or local plants as needed

•Ability to lift 50 lbs.

•Ability to climb a ladder.

•Ability to stand for extended periods of time. Repetitive lifting, bending, and squatting is inherent to this position.
