Flex Well Wellness Clinic is seeking a dedicated and skilled Orthopedic Physical Therapist to join our team in Woodbridge, Virginia. As an Orthopedic Physical Therapist, your daily responsibilities will include:

• Conducting thorough evaluations of patients' physical abilities and limitations related to orthopedic conditions.
• Developing individualized treatment plans that incorporate a variety of techniques such as exercise, manual therapy, and modalities aimed at pain relief and mobility enhancement.
• Monitoring and documenting patients' progress and outcomes throughout the course of treatment to ensure goals are being met.
• Regularly reassessing treatment plans and making adjustments as necessary based on patient feedback and clinical observations.
• Providing education and training to patients and their families about injury management, recovery strategies, and proper use of assistive devices when required.
• Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive patient care and ensure optimal recovery processes.
• Staying current with advancements in physical therapy by participating in continuing education opportunities and professional development workshops.

In this role, you will primarily work with adult and pediatric patients experiencing a variety of orthopedic conditions such as post-operative recoveries, sports injuries, and chronic pain syndromes. You will be responsible for creating a therapeutic environment that encourages healing and motivates patients to actively participate in their care, allowing them to regain mobility and return to their daily activities.

The ideal candidate for the role will possess:

• A Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• A valid state license in Physical Therapy to practice in Virginia.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, facilitating effective interactions with patients and interdisciplinary teams.
• Proficient computer skills for documentation and treatment tracking.
• Flexibility and adaptability to meet the diverse needs of our patient population.

While prior work experience is not mandatory, candidates with clinical internships or field experience in orthopedic settings will be highly regarded. A demonstrated background in evidence-based practice and patient-centered approaches will bolster your application.
