Location: San Diego, CA (On-Site) Compensation: $59,000 - $65,000 Base Salary + Performance Bonus

What You'll Do
As a key member of our Closing Operations team, you will oversee the closing and funding process for mortgage loans while ensuring compliance with all federal, state, and investor requirements.
Responsibilities include:
  • Prepare loan closing packages in accordance with Federal, State, and Investor lending guidelines
  • Review, balance, and approve final Closing Disclosures (CDs)
  • Conduct audits related to TRID, HOPA, High-Cost Loans, HPML, and bona fide changes in circumstance
  • Review executed loan documents for accuracy and proper execution prior to issuing funding authorization
  • Analyze and interpret complex closing documentation
  • Research and resolve issues by gathering facts, evaluating data, and implementing effective solutions
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to ensure smooth and timely loan closings

What We're Looking For
  • Minimum 3 years of mortgage closing experience within the past 5 years
  • Strong knowledge of TRID regulations and disclosure requirements
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively with all parties involved in the loan process
  • Proven ability to multitask and excel in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
  • Encompass experience preferred
  • Non-QM closing experience preferred
