About The Role:

The Global HEMA AI Lead on the Health Economics and Market Access (HEMA) team supports the implementation, coordination, and adoption of AI-enabled initiatives across Corporate, Regional, and Business HEMA teams. This role helps advance AI capabilities that improve access to validated HEMA insights, reimbursement intelligence, health policy information, evidence generation, and market access decision-making for Boston Scientific products and therapies.

This is a hands-on, business-facing role with broad cross-functional exposure. This role serves as a key liaison between HEMA stakeholders, IT, AI, and regional partners to help ensure AI initiatives are effectively implemented, adopted, and continuously improved. The HEMA AI Lead will support capabilities such as the HEMA AI Chatbot and other emerging AI solutions across HEMA.

This role offers a hybrid work schedule three days per week and can be based out of our office in Arden Hills, MN or Marlborough, MA.

Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Coordinate the implementation and continuous improvement of HEMA AI initiatives from planning through adoption and ongoing optimization.
  • Partner with corporate, regional, and business HEMA teams to identify business needs and recommend AI-enabled solutions that improve reimbursement and payer insights, evidence generation, and knowledge management.
  • Collaborate with IT, AI, Digital, and other cross-functional partners to support implementation, testing, deployment, and adoption of AI-enabled solutions across HEMA.
  • Support the ongoing enhancement of AI-enabled capabilities, including chatbot functionality, prompt libraries, knowledge repositories, user documentation, and training resources.

  • Support improvements to retrieval quality, metadata organization, governance practices, and user experience.
  • Develop project documentation, implementation plans, training materials, user guides, and stakeholder communications.
  • Track adoption metrics, user feedback, and value measures to recommend enhancements and demonstrate business impact.
  • Coach and enable HEMA users on effective and responsible use of AI-enabled tools and promote adoption across the organization.
  • Stay current on generative AI, enterprise AI technologies, healthcare market access intelligence, reimbursement trends, and AI best practices relevant to HEMA.

Required Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of relevant experience in project management, program management, AI enablement, digital transformation, medical device, pharmaceutical, biotechnology, healthcare consulting, or a related field.
  • Experience leading complex, cross-functional projects in a matrixed organization, preferably involving healthcare, AI, market access, or commercial strategy to develop and execute projects and solutions.
  • Working knowledge of AI, Gen AI, machine learning, natural language processing, chatbot platforms, knowledge management tools, or AI-enabled business solutions.
  • Demonstrated ability to translate business needs into project requirements, technical requirements, stakeholder plans, and measurable outcomes.
  • Strong communication skills and experience developing interpersonal relationships across multiple functional areas, including both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Demonstrated ability to make effective decisions independently and to work in a fast-paced matrix environment with minimal supervision.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in HEMA, strategy execution, project management, or consulting.
  • Understanding of global and U.S. healthcare markets, market access stakeholders, reimbursement pathways, payer needs, health policy, and value communication.
  • Experience creating AI resources, including prompt libraries, user documentation, training materials, or adoption resources.
