Fleet service workers can also include mechanics, coordinators, and drivers, all working to keep the fleet running efficiently and safely. These positions are essential for organizations that rely on transportation to deliver goods or services.

In fleet service, high-level roles such as fleet managers or executive positions can reach or exceed $400,000 annually, especially with extensive experience, strong leadership skills, and industry certifications. What are the typical daily responsibilities for someone in a Fleet Service role?

In a Fleet Service role, your daily tasks often include inspecting vehicles for safety and maintenance issues, coordinating routine servicing or repairs, updating service logs, and ensuring all vehicles are clean and ready for operation. You may also be responsible for managing vehicle schedules, supporting drivers with logistical needs, and collaborating with mechanics and dispatchers to keep the fleet running efficiently.
