ARE YOU THE SERVICE MANAGER OUR TEAM NEEDS?
Ask yourself: Do you have excellent communication skills? Are you proficient in customer service? If you answered "yes" to these questions and can meet the following requirements, we need you as our Service Manager!
  • 10+ years of experience in truck or fleet service
  • Experience as a Service Writer, Shop Supervisor, or similar leadership role
  • Hands-on experience with light-duty, medium-duty, and heavy-duty work trucks and trailers
  • Strong knowledge of truck and trailer repair and maintenance processes
  • Ability to multitask and remain organized in a fast-paced environment
  • Basic computer skills, including shop management software, email, and scheduling systems
  • Valid driver's license

Preferred qualifications:
  • CDL
  • ASE certifications
  • Diesel/heavy-duty certifications
  • Trailer repair experience

WHAT DO YOU DO IN THIS MANAGEMENT ROLE?
As our Service Manager, you'll be the driving force behind daily shop operations, serving as the primary connection between customers and technicians while ensuring every repair moves efficiently from start to finish. Your day may begin by greeting customers and writing service orders before preparing estimates, coordinating parts orders, assigning work based on technician skill sets, and monitoring productivity throughout the shop. You'll keep customers informed, address concerns with professionalism, verify completed repairs meet quality standards, process billing and payments, and oversee scheduling and workflow to ensure trucks and trailers are repaired correctly and returned on time. Your leadership will play a direct role in the success of our team and the satisfaction of our customers.
