DH Pace Company, Inc. is seeking a Fleet Mechanic in Peachtree Corners, GA. Our service center handles a large fleet of Ford service trucks (E and F series light duty gasoline engines) and sales vehicles.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Performs thorough and accurate Preventative Maintenance inspections
  • Completes all required preventative maintenance operations including lubrication, fluid changes, brake adjustments, and tire rotation
  • Must operate non-CDL vehicles (light-duty) to perform road tests, as well as shuttle in and out of the garage for repairs and maintenance
  • The ability to operate bench grinder, torch, welder, oil pumps, power washer, brake lathe and other hand tools required to perform work is a plus.
  • Document repairs and parts on work orders completely and accurately
  • Maintains tools and workplaces so that conditions are neat and orderly
  • Must be thoroughly familiar with all safety provisions associated with vehicle maintenance
  • Other responsibilities as assigned

Job Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 6 months of verifiable automotive mechanic experience, including preventative maintenance or equivalent education.
  • Able to safely lift 100 pounds
  • Complete set of tools required
  • High School diploma or GED
  • Must have excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Good mechanical aptitude
  • Valid driver's license - must be able to meet all requirements to operate commercial vehicles
