Crabapple LandscapExperts is one of Atlanta's top 5 locally-owned landscape companies. For over 30 years, we've partnered with HOAs, senior living communities, corporate campuses, and commercial properties across Metro Atlanta. We're looking for a skilled Fleet Mechanic to keep our diverse fleet of vehicles and equipment running safely and reliably โ€” including Ram, Isuzu, and Toyota trucks, dump trucks, trailers, and small engine equipment.


What You'll Do

  • Perform preventive maintenance on fleet vehicles and small engine equipment
  • Diagnose and repair pickup trucks, dump trucks, box trucks, trailers, and equipment like weed eaters, blowers, and mowers
  • Conduct quality inspections and audits on trucks, trailers, and equipment
  • Enforce DOT compliance and ensure vehicle registration, insurance, and inspections stay current
  • Maintain a clean, organized shop and manage an inventory system
  • Work with the Director of Fleet and Facilities on the yard, budgets, and equipment purchasing decisions
Requirements:

What You Need

  • 3+ years of experience as a mechanic on fleet vehicles and small engine equipment
  • Proficient with basic vehicle mechanics and diagnostic tools
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office (especially Excel) and fleet management software
  • Clean driving record and ability to drive a company truck
  • Comfortable working outdoors and lifting up to 50 lbs
  • U.S. work authorization required
