Job description

Schedule: Sunday-Thursday, 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM
About the Role
We're looking for a hands-on, detail-oriented Fleet Specialist to join our overnight operations team. You'll play a critical role in keeping our rideshare fleet clean, safe, and ready to roll every morning. This position bridges the gap between our PM and AM operations, ensuring every vehicle is properly received, maintained, and launched without downtime.
This is a physical, fast-paced role ideal for someone who takes pride in keeping vehicles running smoothly and enjoys problem-solving in a dynamic environment.
What You'll Do
End-of-Shift Support (PM Close)
  • Receive returning vehicles at the end of the day and collect keys, tablets, and other driver equipment.
  • Note any reported issues, and inspect for damage or warning lights.
  • Perform light interior cleaning (vacuuming, wipe-downs) and restock basic supplies.

Preventative Maintenance & Vehicle Upkeep
  • Conduct basic maintenance including oil and filter changes, tire pressure checks, and fluid top-offs (coolant, wiper fluid, etc.).
  • Replace wipers, bulbs, and other minor components as needed.
  • Log maintenance tasks and communicate larger repairs to the Fleet Manager or vendors.

Fleet Readiness & Cleaning
  • Pressure wash vehicles for the next shift.
  • Maintain garage cleanliness, tool organization, and inventory of supplies.

Morning Launch Support (AM Start)
  • Prepare vehicles for dispatch before drivers arrive.
  • Troubleshoot basic app, phone, or equipment issues to ensure on-time launches.

Administrative Support
  • Track vehicle assignments, inspections, and maintenance logs.
  • Report and document incidents, driver notes, or missing items.
  • Support the operations team with ad-hoc fleet or logistics tasks.
What You'll Bring
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Background in automotive service, fleet operations, or logistics strongly preferred.
  • Basic mechanical knowledge - comfortable changing oil, checking tires, and performing minor repairs.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Strong communication and teamwork, with the ability to work independently overnight.
  • Comfortable using mobile apps and learning new digital tools.
  • Must be able to lift 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and work in a garage environment.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record required.

Compensation:
  • $24/hour
