We are looking to hire an Associate Applications Technologist for our Beverage category at the Development Center in Lebanon, OH. This Beverage Application Associate Technologist plays a key role in supporting cross-functional teams, including R&D, Technology, Sales, and Category Managementโ€”by assisting with the development, testing, and presentation of innovative beverage concepts. Working under general supervision, this role contributes hands-on expertise to help bring new beverage ideas to life, ensuring quality, consistency, and alignment with customer and business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Product Preparation: Prepare finished beverage applications for internal tastings, customer presentations, and sample submissions with a strong focus on accuracy while maintaining product integrity.
  • Formula Adjustments: Use basic mathematical skills to modify formulations and accurately weigh raw materials using laboratory balances.
  • Inventory Management: Monitor and maintain adequate levels of raw materials and lab supplies to support ongoing project work and minimize delays.
  • Documentation: Record and maintain accurate formula logs and batch records as requested to support traceability and knowledge sharing.
  • Lab Maintenance: Ensure the cleanliness, organization, and operational readiness of the lab workspace and equipment.
  • Equipment Operation: Safely operate, calibrate, and maintain laboratory equipment used in beverage preparation and testing.
  • Project Support: Develop a working knowledge of internal project processes and timelines to actively contribute to the successful execution of R&D and customer initiatives.
  • Special Projects: Support unique or urgent tasks as assigned to meet evolving business needs and priorities.
  • Environmental Commitment: Participate in environmental training and adhere to all relevant policies and procedures in line with MANEโ€™s commitment to sustainability and environmental stewardship.
  • Additional Duties: Perform other job-related responsibilities as assigned by management to support team goals and business growth.


EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelorโ€™s degree required with a preference in Food Science, Nutrition, Chemistry, or related technical discipline.
  • Product and process development knowledge of flavor technology.
  • Preferred a minimum of one year in a flavor/food industry preferred with experience in food preparation and/or flavor research and development.
