Job description

Job Summary:
Pure Storage is reshaping the data storage industry and is seeking a Senior Product Manager for FlashArray Core. In this role, you will own the vision and execution for their widely deployed storage platforms, driving revenue growth and ensuring customer success through innovative product management.
Responsibilities:
• Define and Champion the Core Roadmap: Architect a data-driven roadmap for the //X and //C product lines, prioritizing features, capacity points, and performance enhancements that deliver transformative value and solidify our market leadership.
• Orchestrate Full-Lifecycle Execution: Lead the end-to-end journey of hardware and software updates from initial concept and PRD through GA and growth, ensuring seamless transitions and field execution that minimize customer friction.
• Translate Insights into Engineering Requirements: Partner directly with customers and field teams to decode workload patterns—such as virtualization and database consolidation—into actionable user stories and technical requirements for our engineering, performance, and QA teams.
• Optimize Portfolio Performance: Analyze telemetry, market trends, and pricing data to justify strategic roadmap bets and track key KPIs, including bookings mix, system utilization, and the success of our Evergreen service programs.
• Empower Global Sales and Operations: Collaborate with SKU Management and Product Marketing to build crisp positioning, configuration guidance, and GTM content that enables our field teams to win in the midrange and performance enterprise segments.
Qualifications:
Required:
• Proven success in driving complex infrastructure products or features through the full lifecycle, from requirements authoring to post-launch optimization and field enablement.
• A strong foundational understanding of block storage architectures, flash media, and common deployment models for virtualization and hybrid-cloud workloads.
• A track record of using analytical insights—such as win/loss data, performance benchmarks, and usage telemetry—to prioritize roadmaps and influence cross-functional stakeholders.
• The ability to translate deeply technical concepts into structured, simple guidance for sales teams while maintaining a high level of credibility with senior architects and engineers.
• Experience engaging directly with customers and solutions engineers to identify gaps in the current portfolio and advocate for requirements that solve real-world business challenges.
• Location: We are primarily an in-office environment and therefore, you will be expected to work from the Santa Clara, CA office in compliance with Everpure’s policies, unless you are on PTO, or work travel, or other approved leave.
