The Maria Tash brand is based in New York with worldwide headquarters and its flagship store that opened in 2004. It was not until 2016 that the Tash expanded internationally with the opening of a shop at Liberty of London. Following this, the brand has continued to open piercing and jewelry destinations in Dublin (Brown Thomas), Liberty (London), Harrods of London and most recently the world’s very first piercing destination in the Middle East at the Dubai Mall, Mall of Emirates and Kuwait. With a cult following of celebrities including Rihanna, Zoe Kravitz, Julianne Moore, Jennifer Lawrence and Charlize Theron to name just a few, the brand is the leading destination for influencers, industry insiders and tastemakers around the world.

How You’ll Impact

The retail supervisor is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the stylist team. They work alongside the manager and assistant manager to ensure the team is delivering goals outlined.  They are the first point of contact if problems occur with employees or customers.  

 What You’ll Do

People Management

  • Assist with day-to-day management of stylist team
  • Coach employees by giving constructive feedback- “coaching in the moment”
  • Ensure all procedure and process are followed through
  • Support and deliver on-floor training with all new stylist
  • Assist in conducting team meetings with store manager and assistant store manager

Sales Duties

  • Work towards sales & KPI targets to motivate stylist team
  • Ensure the client information is captured correctly and that client records are accurately maintained
  • Regularly update staff on business performance, and new initiatives

Operational Duties

  • Maintain an excellent level of cleanliness, facilities, and store maintenance
  • Ensure safe and secure storage of all data, in particular client and staff data held in the store

Customer Service

  • Ensure that the stylist team is always providing the highest level of customer service
  • Drive sales and customer retention through clientele
  • Improve sales by retaining customers and increase average spend
  • Resolve customer queries and complaints when required
  • Be a brand ambassador and demonstrate excellent brand knowledge
  • Understand piercing healing times, positioning and fitting, ensuring that advice is taken from piercing team as well as understood and communicated by selling team
  • Accurately process all POS transactions, capture of customer information, transfers, repairs, damages, etc. to maintain the integrity of the inventory.
