With the launch of its first retail destination in New York, ONER Active is bringing its community into a new space designed to inspire connection, confidence, and movement. As the brand continues to grow globally, this opening marks a significant milestone and an opportunity to shape the in-store experience from the very beginning with our first ever retail store.

We are looking for individuals who are passionate about people, style, fitness and creating meaningful customer interactions. The right candidates will bring a strong sense of professionalism, a collaborative mindset, and an enthusiasm for representing a brand built on purpose, performance, and community.

We are looking for an experienced, community-driven Assistant Store Manager to help lead the launch of our NYC flagship location. This is an opportunity to join one of the fastest-growing women’s activewear brands and play a key role in building Oner Active’s first physical retail experience in the United States.

About the Role

As Assistant Store Manager, you will partner closely with the Store Manager to lead daily operations, oversee the team, and deliver an exceptional customer experience that reflects the ONER brand. You will support the recruitment, onboarding, training, and development of the store team while driving operational excellence, visual merchandising standards, and commercial performance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Store Leadership & Team Management
  • Support the Store Manager in leading all day-to-day store operations
  • Act as a leader on the shop floor by motivating and inspiring the team
  • Help recruit, onboard, train, and develop store employees
  • Provide ongoing coaching and performance feedback to team members
  • Foster a positive, collaborative, and high-performing work environment
  • Lead by example through strong customer service and operational execution
Client Experience & Community
  • Deliver an elevated and personalised customer experience
  • Build meaningful relationships with customers and encourage long-term loyalty
  • Represent the Oner Active brand values and culture at all times
  • Support in-store activations, community events, launches, and brand moments

Commercial & Operational Excellence

  • Maintain high visual merchandising standards across all product categories
  • Support floor moves, product launches, and seasonal visual updates
  • Ensure the customer journey throughout the store feels seamless and inspiring

  • Minimum 2+ years of retail leadership or assistant management experience
