Sewing Associate Flag Repair & Fabric Work
Flagpoles Etc. is looking for a dependable, detail-oriented person to help with flag repair, sewing, and fabric-related work at our Wixom, Michigan location.

This is a hands-on position for someone who enjoys working independently, takes pride in neat work, and understands that details matter. You do not need to know everything about flags we can teach that but you do need to be comfortable using a sewing machine and working with fabric.
What Youll Be Doing
Responsibilities may include:
  • Repairing American flags, state flags, custom flags, and specialty flags
  • Sewing hems, fly ends, headers, patches, and reinforcements
  • Replacing or repairing grommets, rope, snaps, and other flag hardware
  • Inspecting flags to determine whether they can be repaired
  • Measuring, cutting, folding, and preparing fabric
  • Keeping sewing work clean, accurate, and professional
  • Following written instructions and job notes
  • Helping keep the sewing area organized and stocked
  • Communicating when materials, thread, hardware, or supplies are low
  • Making sure finished repairs are neat, strong, and ready to return to the customer
  • For full-time work, the remaining time would be spent helping in our inventory room.
