Job Summary
 
The Security Site Lead oversees daily security operations on a large-scale construction site, ensuring the safety of personnel, equipment, and property. This role supervises security staff and coordinates closely with site leadership to ensure efficient, secure operations.
 
Responsibilities
  • Supervise security officers, gate attendants, and work zone traffic flaggers
  • Enforce access control, badging, and site entry procedures
  • Monitor site activity through patrols and observation
  • Oversee traffic flow, deliveries, and contractor access
  • Respond to incidents, emergencies, and safety concerns
  • Complete daily activity and incident reports
  • Coordinate with project management and SaberOne leadership
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards, including OSHA guidelines
  • Apply sound judgment and problem-solving skills to resolve on-site issues
  • Approve time-off requests, manage overtime, and oversee employee timecards to ensure proper staffing and accurate payroll reporting
Qualifications
  • 3+ years of security experience (construction preferred)
  • Proven experience managing staff in a supervisory or lead role
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
  • Strong, proven communication skills with both clients and staff
  • Valid Maryland security guard license (as required)
  • Flagger certification (e.g., ATSSA) preferred
