Job description

Fetzer Architectural Woodwork is seeking a full-time MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN who will travel to retail facilities throughout the United States and South America to refinish and repair wood retail store fixtures.

During retail store visits, the MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN will touch up, refinish, and repair store fixtures over multiple overnight shifts. Occasionally, the Technician will oversee the installation and/or removal of individual fixtures from the retail space.

The rate of pay for the MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN is $38.04 per hour.

Travel is required for MAINTENANCE TECHNICIANS up to 80% of the time for out-of-town projects. The other 20% may be spent working in our manufacturing facility in Salt Lake City. Shop rate of pay applies when working in the manufacturing facility. Pay DOE.

The successful MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN will have

  • General carpentry skills experience
  • Finish experience preferred
  • Touch-up experience is highly preferred
  • Knowledge of fixture fabrication
  • Ability to work well with others and take direction
  • Represent Fetzer with a professional attitude and appearance
  • Ability to work unsupervised while maintaining efficiency and professionalism

WORKING CONDITIONS:

Will travel and be away from home for extended periods of time, typically 2 to 3 weeks at a time. The work performed for this position typically occurs at night, after normal retail store hours end.
