Rhino Central Services
Rhino Central Services is the backbone of All Things Metal Industries, providing HR, finance, and IT support exclusively for ATM Steel, RoXteel, and KorFab. While we don't produce steel or panels ourselves, our work keeps the whole family of companies running smoothly. Everything we do is focused on supporting our specialized teams so they can succeed.
Role
The Staff Accountant plays a key role in supporting the company's financial operations by ensuring accurate accounting records, timely reporting, and compliance with regulatory requirements. This position works closely with the finance team to assist with month-end and year-end processes, maintain account reconciliations, and provide cross-functional accounting support.
Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and post journal entries, maintain the general ledger, and record accrual adjustments.
  • Support month-end close processes and assist with year-end financial statement preparation.
  • Assist with TPT reporting, sales tax filings, and state and local tax reporting.
  • Maintain and update fixed asset and amortization schedules, ensuring accurate tracking and reporting.
  • Provide support during internal and external audits, including preparation of documentation and reports.
  • Assist with insurance renewals by gathering and preparing required financial documentation.
  • Cross-train in Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable to provide coverage and operational support as needed.
  • Collaborate with other finance team members on cross-trained responsibilities and ad hoc projects.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within accounting processes.

Qualifications
  • 3+ years of accounting experience
  • Sage or Vista Viewpoint software experience is required
  • Strong Excel and financial reporting skills
  • Knowledge of construction job costing is a plus
  • High attention to detail and strong time management
  • Ability to learn, adapt, and collaborate across departments
  • Professional working proficiency in English required

Schedule
Business hours are M-Th 7am - 5pm and Fri 7am - 11am
