Job description

Tradable Indices are algorithmic strategies tracking the performance of a rules-based strategy that invests in public, listed financial instruments across one or many asset classes. These strategies are offered to our Client via swaps, options, Structured Products and Funds. Our Nexus Structuring Team provides an end to end scalable solution to our Clients to manage their own strategies, leveraging the firms trading and operational expertise.

As a Structuring Middle Office Associate in the Nexus Structuring Team, you will be supporting Front Office team and will be responsible for Index set-up, monitoring price publication, investigating and fixing missing prices, completing reconciliation checks, and ensuring SLAs are met.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Reference data: New Index set-up and amendment should be completed accurately as requested by the stakeholder.
  • Pricing: Publication of levels on vendor application are accurate.
  • Reconciliation: Performing multiple reconciliation to ensure all the levels in the system are correct.
  • Query management: To ensure all the queries received in the mailbox are actioned accurately and timely.
  • Communication: Interact with the management and stakeholders at regular intervals.
  • Controls: Ensure all the controls are adhered and enhanced to ensure it is robust.
  • Automation: Explore feasibility to automate manual activities wherever possible.
  • Ensuring Checklist and MIS are completed on time.
  • Ensuring timely update/review of SOP's.
  • Build an in-depth understanding of all systems from operational perspective.

Required qualifications, capabilities and skills:

  • Knowledge of financial products such as Equities, Fixed Income, FX, Collateral, Derivatives, Money Market, Cash Products
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross functional teams.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to proactively identify risks and escalate issues.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a changing work environment.

Preferred Qualifications, Skills, and Capabilities:

  • Prior knowledge of Middle office and/or Pricing process.
  • Self-starter who works in a fast paced, results driven environment with excellent multitasking and prioritization skills.
  • Good working knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
  • Experience in automation tools such as Alteryx, Tableau, UiPath and Xceptor
