Meet the Team
Core to the health and growth of our business, the firm's active, multi-manager business model demands flexible, scalable technology and advanced proprietary systems, including the development of the next generation of analytical and trading capabilities. The Fixed Income Technology team is responsible for the development and support of trading platforms, position and risk management systems, data, infrastructure, and tools used by our Fixed Income portfolio managers.
What You'll Do
  • Build and maintain strong, trusted relationships with portfolio manager teams, serving as their primary technology point of contact.
  • Act as a tech-savvy partner to PM teams - fielding technical inquiries, understanding their workflows, solving complex problems, and guiding them to the right tools and solutions.
  • Drive the rollout and adoption of our internal application suite and related tools across PM teams.
  • Work directly with portfolio management teams to provide hands-on technical support, help solve complex problems, and guide them toward the right tools and solutions for their needs.

What You Bring
  • 5+ years of relevant experience within investment bank technology teams, buy-side firms, exchanges, or software vendors.
  • Solid financial markets experience, including exposure to trading applications, risk management, operations, middle office, and Fixed Income products.
  • Subject matter expertise in Fixed Income markets, trading, pricing, analytics, risk management, and related technology.
  • Prior experience working in front-office technology teams is highly desirable, including roles in development or other relevant technology functions.
  • Ability to serve as a technical liaison - capturing portfolio management and trading teams' requirements and feedback, translating business needs into actionable requirements, and collaborating with engineering teams to deliver solutions.
  • Ability to communicate technical details with development teams and users, while providing clear, concise updates to senior stakeholders.
  • Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills, with demonstrated experience engaging directly with portfolio managers and the ability to demonstrate tools and platforms in a clear, compelling manner.
  • Coding, software development, and AI tooling skills and experience are a strong plus.

Salary Range
Millennium offers a total compensation package which includes a base salary, discretionary performance bonus, and comprehensive benefits. The estimated base salary range for this position is $175,000 to $250,000, which is specific to New York and may change in the future. When finalizing an offer, we take into consideration an individual's experience level and the qualifications they bring to the role to formulate a competitive total compensation package.
