Secured Financing, Fixed Income Repo Trader, Assistant Vice President (onsite)

This role involves managing and executing fixed income repo trading activities, focusing on enhancing net interest income through strategic relationships and market analysis. Candidates should have a strong background in fixed income markets and demonstrate excellent analytical and communication skills.

Who we are looking for

Secured Financing is looking for a fixed income repo trader to support the execution and the growth of the activity in the region. Some knowledge of funding markets and relationships with market participants is preferred.

Due to the role requirements this job needs to be performed primarily in the office with some flex work opportunities available.

What you will be responsible for
  • Lead in managing a new repurchase agreement program to facilitate funding and customer demand to enhance net interest income
  • Trade entry and position recon
  • Initiate and maintain client relationships for trading
  • Understand and analyze markets to capitalize on opportunities and effectively execute the team’s trading strategies
  • Forecast daily cash requirements and execute daily financing decisions
  • Analyze central bank actions and the impact of those actions on the market
  • Understand and analyze capital, liquidity and credit impact of trades
  • Develop and maintain trading dashboards using business intelligence software

Education & Preferred Qualifications
  • BS/BA (Finance/ Economics)
  • Strong Excel and Power Point
  • Fixed income market experience
  • Familiarity with business intelligence tools such as Qlik or Tableau
  • Python coding experience

Salary Range

$120,000 - $120,000 Annual
