Position
Rockefeller Global Investment Management (RGIM) is seeking a Municipal Fixed Income Analyst with 3+ years of experience to join the team in New York City or Rochester, NY. This individual will play a key role in the investment process by conducting fundamental research and analysis for investment grade municipal securities in support of RGIM's separately managed account strategies. The ideal candidate will also demonstrate a strong interest in leveraging technology, including the use of AI tools and resources, to enhance the credit research process. This position will report to RGIM's Director of Credit Research.
Responsibilities
  • Analyze multiple sectors and issuers within the investment grade municipal bond market.
  • Produce well-researched, concise credit commentary evaluating an issuer's economic, financial, debt and administrative factors, and their impact on current and forward-looking credit risk.
  • Effectively communicate credit views and recommendations to portfolio managers and the broader research team.
  • Leverage AI tools and technology resources to support credit surveillance across a broad universe of municipal securities and separately managed accounts.
  • Assist with data collection, macroeconomic research, and development of market commentary to support client accounts.
  • Attend relevant industry conferences and cultivate relationships with ratings agencies and other key market participants, as appropriate.

Qualifications
  • 3+ years of professional experience preferred
  • Bachelor's degree in finance or related field.
  • Knowledge of financial statement analysis, economics, public finance, and the asset management industry.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Bloomberg. Familiarity with Perform is preferred.
  • Experience with AI tools such as Microsoft Copilot, Agents, and Power Automate a plus.
  • Working knowledge of at least one software coding language.
  • Strong attention to detail, sound judgement, and ability to reason.
  • Collaborative team player with an entrepreneurial mindset and strong interpersonal skills.

Compensation Range
The anticipated base salary range for this role is $90,000 to $100,000. Base salary for the role will depend on several factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies, and experience, and may fall outside of the range shown. In addition, this role may be eligible for a discretionary bonus.
