Position: Oracle EBS Finance Functional Consultant – Fixed Assets (FA) Module

Location: Chicago, IL (Hybrid)

Duration: Long term contract

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Oracle EBS Finance Functional Consultant with strong expertise in the Fixed Assets (FA) Module to support our Oracle E-Business Suite Finance projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing functional expertise in Fixed Asset lifecycle management, configuration, and integration with other Finance modules to meet business needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design, configuration, and implementation of the Fixed Assets (FA) Module in Oracle EBS Finance.
  • Collaborate with business users to gather and analyze requirements related to asset management, capitalization, depreciation, asset transfers, and disposals.
  • Configure Fixed Assets module components such as Asset Categories, Asset Books, Asset Additions, Retirements, Transfers, Depreciation Methods, etc.
  • Ensure integration of Fixed Assets with other EBS modules like General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), and Purchasing.
  • Support preparation of functional specifications for technical development as needed.
  • Conduct workshops, requirement gathering sessions, and walkthroughs with stakeholders.
  • Perform thorough functional and system testing (Unit Testing, SIT, UAT) to ensure solutions meet business expectations.
  • Provide post-implementation support and issue resolution for Fixed Assets processes.
  • Prepare comprehensive functional documentation, including design documents, process flows, configuration guides, and user manuals.

Required Qualifications:

  • Strong hands-on experience in Oracle EBS Finance Functional – Fixed Assets (FA) Module.
  • Experience configuring asset categories, asset books, asset additions, transfers, retirements, and depreciation processes in Oracle EBS FA.
  • Good understanding of financial business processes, especially asset lifecycle management.
  • Experience integrating Fixed Assets with General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Purchasing, etc.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to interact with business and technical teams.
  • Proven ability to work in a remote environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in full-cycle Oracle EBS Finance implementations or upgrade projects.
